Why Tops N Texas (TNT) Dance Challenge?
We Truly Are Different!
We offer a VIP sanctuary for Directors & Teachers with live video feed of the event and catered
refreshments. In 2010 we will be coming to several cities in the great State of Texas! We offer
our video qualifier to studios that reside more than 100 miles from one of our regional event
cities and our VIP room at the regionals as well. Also, we are not only adjudicated we are a true
competition with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place standings (provided there are more than 1 in each
performance category). At our State Finals Event, we will crown the Tops N Texas Dance
Challenge Studio. This award is determined by averaging the scores of each studio's routines.
Therefore it doesn't matter if you have 5 or 50 routines The Studio with the highest average will
win the Title and all the perks that come with that title!

So How Do My Routines Qualify?
You may participate at any of our regional events. Dances that obtain a Platinum, Gold or Silver
award are eligible to compete at our State Finals Event. Each regional also has a workshop. At
the regionals you receive one free workshop entry for every 10 routines that is entered upto the
number of students and teachers you have in attendance. You may also bring students from your
studio for the workshop that are not performing. The rates are listed on the Fees page. We do
not accept independant entries for competition, individuals may attend the workshops. Each
studio must enter at least 8 routines of which 5 must be a group (4 or more dancers) entry. If you
attend a regional event and wish to qualify additional entries for the State Finals you may do so
via the Video Qualifier.

When & Where is the
State Finals Event & Workshop Intensive?
June 28-July 1, 2010
San Antonio at Tapatio Springs Resort! Our workshop intensive will offer classes from some of
the top teachers/choreographers in the country! There will be classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip
Hop, Lyrical/Contemporary, and teacher specific related classes! Our workshop fees are
affordable. Each competitor must be enrolled in the workshop to be eligible to compete. Our
workshop, however is open to anyone who would like to participate, so bring your
non-competitive students as well and save! We have teacher incentives at our State Finals Event.
On June 27, 2008 there will be a Director/Teacher cocktail party at the resort with the TNT staff
and faculty. You are encouraged to mingle and meet our great staff and faculty members. We are
approachable! This is a great way for you to network with our professionals to better your studio
and students! Don't forget we also offer competition entry fee rebates for entering in a timely
manner! Our VIP room for our Directors and teachers will have lounge type seating with live feed
big screen of what is happening on stage.
Catered refreshments will be served all day in the VIP room!
