| State Finals & Workshop Intensive June 28-July 1, 2010 Our spectacular State Finals Event will be held in beautiful San Antonio, Texas. Our host site is the Tapatio Springs Resort. It is advised to book your room once you qualify for the event. Don't forget to request the Tops N Texas Dance Challenge special rate! All participants are required to stay in the hotel regardless of where you live! We are only able to offer you the event of the year with 100% support of our clients in adhering to this request. This will be an amazing vacation and spectacular event for you and your students! Our Workshops are taught by some the leading dance educators and choreographers in the nation! Notes for the teachers and directors will be given for each class. We will also offer for the directors and teachers industry specific classes to help take your business to the next level! We encourage networking so in the spirit of such we will be hosting a cocktail party for all the directors and teachers introducing you to our fabulous TNT staff and faculty. Door prizes will be awarded at the party for those in attendance. All Directors will receive a special Thank You gift at the party as well. We know you have many options available for competitions and workshops, and we want to show our appreciation for supporting Tops N Texas (TNT) Dance Challenge! Our State Finals Event will be a wonderful experience for you and your students! There will be a dance vendor market place with state wide vendors offering a variety of dance industry specific and related goods. We will have a professional videography company taping the entire event. But hold on to your hat because we are offering an awards ceremony extravaganza! Awards Banquet Extravaganza At the State Finals Event all medal standings will be awarded after each Division type has competed, (ie: solos, duet/trios, groups). Placement standing and over all awards will be presented at a gala awards banquet event. This is a semi-formal/formal event, and it is requested that all girl soloists wear a long formal gown, and all males wear a suit and bow tie or tux, as winners and runner-ups for the TNT dance titles will be presented, all other students and guests may wear short formals or their Sunday best. It is also at the Awards banquet that the Tops N Texas (TNT) Dance Challenge Top Studio award will be given. A menu will be sent in your invitation packet. Awards to be Presented Our special Judges awards will be awarded during our banquet. All student participants are eligible to receive these awards. Also, special door prizes will be given during the dinner. The Judges will also choose the following awards... Best Choreography Best Costume Best Emotional Execution Best Technical Performance Most Entertaining Performance Each 2nd and 3rd place category winners will receive a bouquet of flowers and a plaque. Each 1st place winner will receive a bouquet of flowers and a beautiful trophy. Female Solo Over all runner-ups will receive a bouquet of flowers and a tiara. Jr. Miss and Miss TNT will receive a large bouquet of flowers, large puff crown, Decorative Sash, Robe and a cash award of $250*, plus the opportunity to tour with us as a workshop assistant on our 2011 tour. Male Solo Over all runner-ups will receive a boutonnière and a male crown Jr. Mr. and Mr. TNT will receive a boutonnière, a large male crown, Decorative Sash, Robe and a cash award of $250*, plus the opportunity to tour with us as a workshop assistant on our 2011 tour. Each Jr. & Sr. Duet/Trio, Small Group, and Large Group Over all runner-ups will receive a plaque for the studio. Jr. & Sr. Duet/Trio winners will receive a large trophy and a $300* cash award to the studio. Jr. & Sr. Small Group winners will receive a large trophy and a $500* cash award to the studio. Jr. & Sr. Large Group winners will receive a large trophy and a $750* cash award to the studio. All Over all winners will be asked to stay for a special Hollywood style photo shoot. Photos will be used in our 2011 advertising campaign Our Tops N Texas Dance Studio Award Based on the average score of each studio's routines entered, will receive a custom plaque with their studio name and year won engraved to display in their studio for one year, the director will receive a custom embroidered jacket, and all the participants will receive an embroidered patch to put on their bags or team jackets, plus the studio receives a $1000 cash award*. *Minimum number of entries must be met in order to award cash prizes. If minimum not met, TNT gift certificates will be awarded in the amounts listed, to be used at any 2011 event for either workshop or competition entry fees. |
