We strive to offer a family friendly event, please take into consideration the audience to draw the line on sexually suggestive choreography and costuming.  Age appropriate and
lyric clean song material is important as well.  A good choreographer does not need to stoop to morally questionable interpretations to win an award.  Clean technique from the
performers, and solid, intelligent choreography is what will give you the scores you are striving to achieve.  If we deem a performance unsuitable for our family audience the
routine will be disqualified, and no entry fees refunded.

Detailed Rules & Regulations - Please Read Carefully!

Entry is open to TEXAS studios only!  No independent or individual entries allowed except as follows:  Individuals who are not associated with a studio are allowed to enter for adjudication evaluation
only, critiques and score only, no award.  Independent and individuals may also participate in our workshop intensive.  Also, individuals/independants must reside and train in Texas.  If a
choreographer or teacher enters 6 or more routines you will then automatically be considered a studio, and the following guideline will apply, as will your right to then receive award status for your
entries.  If you attend a regional event and would like to qualify additional routines for the State Finals you may do so via the last chance qualifier at the finals event.
Each studio must enter at least 6 routines with at least 3 routines being a small or large group.

Video Qualifier
If your studio is more than 100 miles from one of our regional events, yet you would like to qualify for our State Finals event you may submit via video.  All other rules apply with the exception of entry
fees rates and monetary awards are not given.  Video Qualifier rates are less than the published rates.  If a city does not receive enough entries to hold the event we will give each studio the option
of entering the video qualifier and a credit or refund of the excess fees will be given.
Why is the video qualifier cheaper to enter?  Simply because we do not have to rent a venue, therefore our overhead is much less.  You still receive your awards and critiques via mail.
To enter the VQ you must send your entries on DVD(s) or flash drive your entries.  Put as many dances as you can on one DVD/flash drive.  DO NOT send 1 dance per DVD/flash drive!
If you want your media returned please send self addressed stamped envelope/box or you can collect them on registration day at our State Finals Event.
